Softtouch is an invisible yet tangible quality that emerges when people connect openly, honestly and trustingly. In a world where digital and analogue experiences are increasingly merging, this installation focuses on moments of genuine human connection.

The installation only functions through shared physical interaction. Two participants must hold hands while placing their other hand on the installation. It is only through this act of touching that the work is activated, triggering a digital media response — a free interpretation of soft touch.

The installation requires physical presence. It reminds us that connection cannot exist purely in the digital realm, but requires real bodily interaction. Softtouch invites participants to rediscover the need for closeness, offering a moment to feel held, connected and present.
